![]() ![]() Since i don't have that much money currently i mainly wanna try f2p games even if they're somewhat pay2win or some content is locked behind expansions like in gw2. in gw2/lost ark (atleast where i am at) i only look sometimes briefly at a simple build/leveling guide on my phone and therefore playing them feels smooth. that game is however way to complex for what i want right now and even though there are really well written/structured guides out there i really don't care having to look at my laptop (2nd screen) all the time to make sure i do everything right. Since i like lost ark's combat i tried path of exile today (i know it's not a mmorpg). however i do like that i get a mount permanenty pretty early on and that i have a lot of item space. i ignored the systems for now and just kept playing but it dawns on me that i have to look into them at some point maybe even before end-game and i really don't care for it. especially the stronghold aspect which feels like another game in a game. however once i got to luterra castle the game dropped a gazillion systems on me. it being isometric and very linear (travelling through gw2 definetly looks prettier though). i do enjoy it's flashy, mass murdery combat and, atleast in the beginning, it's simplicity incl. Then i tried lost ark just to have a look at the currently hyped mmo (fomo cough). what i don't like about it is having only briefly a mount in "early" game and the extremely limited item space both on character and in the bank (i know it's partialy because i play f2p). Gw2 i like for the simple, themepark, mindless (in a good way) experience with no complex systems attached and knowing it has a horizontal progression system, however i have not gotten to end game so be aware of that. ![]() the 2 games i enjoyed the most so far on my current journey were guild wars 2 and lost ark. i did however play eso for a few months in mid2010 as well as destiny(2) for a few years on/off but because i played these 2 already i really don't want to play games too similiar to these 2. I recently started dipping into the mmorpg genre cause youtube recommended me josh strifes hayes channel and the fact that i was playing other or no games at the genre's peak. quality of life features like enough inventory space and access to a mount, fast travelling etc. being able to solo (till at least end game) or if necesssary find players quickly but being open to the social aspect of mmos if i end up liking the game no complex systems (lost ark is to complex for me) simple but flashy action combat like lost ark IF YOU SEND A MESSAGE TO THE MODS ABOUT A POST YOU MADE INCLUDE A LINK TO THAT POST.
